Technical workshop on Open Educational Resources (OER)

NOUN-OER unit in collaboration with UNESCO organized a technical workshop on Open Educational Resources (OER) from Monday 27th to Friday 31st July 2015. Mr Fred de Vries facilitated the workshop with the aid of funding from Abel Caine, UNESCO Programme Specialist for Open Educational Resources (OER) at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. Mr Fred de Vries is from the Open University, the Netherlands. He is an instructional designer, educational technologist and educational consultant at the OUNL and has engaged in a wide range of projects on the use of technology in education, including OER, learning repositories and mobile learning. This five-day workshop took place at NOUN-OER unit, School of Health Science Building, NOUN Headquaters, 14/16 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria.
